CP Industries designs and manufactures seamless pressure vessels for the transportation of fluids and gases in compliance with the regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations. CP Industries is approved by the DOT to manufacture 3A, 3AA, 3AAX, and 3T specification pressure vessels and to perform requalification testing of these vessels, which is normally required at five-year intervals.

CP Industries adheres to these exacting specifications when building all DOT vessels. Every finished vessel is tested and inspected as specified, with a final hydrostatic test to 5/3 times the design service pressure. DOT vessels can be designed and fabricated in a wide range of sizes and configurations for use in transportation assemblies.

Although the legal jurisdiction of the DOT is limited to the US, the DOT design specifications for the vessels are recognized any accepted in many other parts of the world including South America, Asia Africa, and Australia.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are gases other than those authorized by the DOT to be used in these vessels, otherwise the structural integrity of these vessels can be impaired and result in catastrophic failure, personal injury and/or property damage.
